The Long Way Around

Taking a long way around is hard and long, but it is always the right path. The quick path is always a trap.  It usually devours and destroys its victims.  As John Emerich Edward Dalberg-Acton said, "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men"

If something is worth it, then it is worth working hard and taking the long path in winning them.  If you want to change the corruption of the United States of America, you must own it.  What I mean, you have to take responsibility for changing everything — vote, peaceful protesting, write and communicate with your lawmakers, and all the rest.  Voting is just a speck of what must be done.  We hear and read if I did all this I would lose my job, status in society, etc. The question that needs to be asked, "What is worth more to you... a temporal job, status, etc. our keeping our Republic?"

Stoicism is taking charge of what can be controlled.  If you listen to the mass media's new programs, you are taught there is no hope for anything we do.  THAT IS THE BIG LIE!  Our Founding Fathers created a Republic that the WE THE PEOPLE can make all the difference when things do not work any longer.  We are commanded to change things — even if we have to redraft a whole new Constitution.  This is not easy to do — NOR SHOULD IT BE EASY!!

Neale Donald Walsch said, "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone."  Most, including me, believe and see we are entering a new era. We must all prove we can survive in it if we want to live in this realm or not.  In a lot of ways, we are already within — walking in the shadows of what awaits.  To evolve from there, we have to work hard, build new things, and achieve in ways never done before.  The best control the elitists has over us is to keep us from behaving in a natural humanity way.
