Character & Responsibility
If we want to change our nation to the place it should be, then it will take a great from our character and responsibility from every American. Voltaire said, "With great power comes great responsibility." The Preamble of the Constitution of the United States of America does give a lot of power to its people, but it takes the same from the lawmakers we vote for and put into office. These authorities come with the utmost responsibility from all Americans.
We don't just vote and sit on our asses every four years and every time we vote in between. Life is constantly in motion. Our planet changes fully every 24 hours if you realize it or not. Nothing in life stands still. If we all do not go forward with it, we suffer because we refused to live. If we do this year after year, then that can and will destroy a nation more than anything. Many nations before us fell when the people failed to realize to have Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, it takes nurturing. It takes getting off our asses and life through all the things thrown at us. As Neale Donald Walsch said, "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone." NEVER FEEL COMFORTABLE!
We are living in a new era if we like it or not, and I have seen this COVID-19 pandemic is pushing us deeper in it. That may be a great deal to live up to, but there is always a purpose for things like that — for one, we can handle it. We must not be timid anymore about life. We have to grab each day with both hands and hold on tight. As the months and years continue onward, we all will come to realize we are stronger than we thought. That will evolve into something far more than what humanity has ever faced before. Always realize that there will be something beyond our imagination, waiting, just on the other side of the adversities in front of us today.
The biggest obstacles in our way are the ABSOLUTELY CORRUPT Republican Party. Since 2018 & 2020 elections, we have removed all we could. In the next 2022 election, there will be 22 Senator Republicans running for office. We must remove most if not all of them. Not many have shown us today the party as a whole can be trusted. The American people of the 21st century does not know hard times. Not many of the baby boomers that are alive truly understands this. Only the ones alive that has been in WWII and Vietnam fully understand what I am saying. We are hardly taught any of this in history class in any of our public schools.
It is easy for any of us to sit in our cozy homes and say, "If I were a member of Congress..." Being a good leader takes a great deal. As the old saying went, "More that is given, more is required." Being a leader take a great deal. The responsibility is just as dynamic. When you vote, put that in mind. Can that individual work under pressure and with others? How does that person respect our Republic/Constitution of the United States of America? If this individual answers no to these two important questions (if not many more), question his loyalty to the office that person will serve.
It takes a great deal of responsibility to be an average American. This is our nation's government — not just the lawmakers. We are all in this or we all lose. That means, stop monkeying around and do the right things because it may depend on how our nations survives.
