You Most Do The Work

“Whatever anyone does or says, for my part I’m bound to the good. In the same way an emerald or gold or purple might always proclaim: ‘whatever anyone does or says, I must be what I am and show my true colors.’”

Today we have either read or heard about the Supreme Court on Arizona and California's voting restrictions cases.  Believe it or not, we still hold a Republic.  Every American can still vote out the Republicans in the 2022 Election.  The massive mailing votes was a fluke — all because of the pandemic.  Unless you get devastated once again with the new variants of COVID-19, we may never have such a huge scale of home voting my mail again.

The stoics believe each one of us has a purpose in life. To uphold that purpose, it takes all Americans to vote out the corrupt lawmakers to have the good ones create new laws to serve and protect all in our nation in this era and century.  Our Founding Fathers realized that we have to do all the work — for ourselves and the nation.  Roadblocks will always be there.  The American voters had dealt with voting restrictions throughout American History.  Here we stand now.

If HR1 passed and became law, would there be a higher voting turnout?  Having life too soft causes people to decline than strengthing themselves under corrupt lawmakers.  Things will always appear the worse at first.  Later, we can overcome or simply realize it was not as bad as it first looked.  When we are forced into bad situations, it does not mean we overcome by patience and working harder to achieve the same goals in life.

WE THE PEOPLE of the United States of America must do the work.  We can't allow the other person to do it for us.  Instead of liberals writing on social media, articles for all to read, and all the rest, we can use this to build up new opportunities and get something stronger and more dynamic than HR1 or whatever.  Helen Keller said, "When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us."  We must use this philosophy in voting in the 2022 Election if not before and after.  No one or thing can take that away from America when the last American is left standing.
