A Constitutional Federal Republic vs Smoke Screens

Ladies and gentlemen of the United States of America.  We are a government of Law.  We have people repeating "Democracy, Democracy, Democracy," but that is not who are what we are as the United States of America.  We are not a government of majority rules, or we would not have all the rights we demand and need to clean up the mess we face.  What are these messes?  It is not policing the world.

The Treaty of Versailles failed to police the world from what got started after World War I.  The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, European Union, etc. has failed to control tyranny after WWII.  Let me explain this: calling it a Cold War does not mean it was not World War III.  "The Cold War defined the political role of the United States in the post–World War II world: by 1989 the United States held military alliances with 50 countries and had 1.5 million troops posted abroad in 117 countries which institutionalized a global commitment to huge, permanent peacetime military-industrial complexes and large-scale military funding of science" (https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Effects_of_the_Cold_War).  Looks like a third World War to me.  How about you?  The politicians [of both political party] has been trying to police the world and failed.

Not too long ago, the news media made a big stink on global warming, the COVID-19 pandemic, gun violence, and all the rest THAT WE ARE STILL FACING this very moment of reality. There is a Stoic philosophy that clearly defines what we can and cannot control, "Remember: You Don't Control What Happens, You Control How You Respond" (https://dailystoic.com/remember-you-dont-control-what-happens-you-control-how-you-respond/).  No religion, spirituality, philosophy, etc. demands from us to police the world.  It is hard enough to deal with what we can control.  The Taliban are a group of people that no one has ever change.  There is an old saying that has been around since immortal itself, "the leopard can't change its spots."

Many in the media has complained (and still are) about President Biden moving out of Afghanistan.  Nowhere in our Constitutional Federal Republic demands the government or any military to police the world (The U.S. Constitution Online - USConstitution.net).  History has proven time and time again, nothing will change.  We could not prevent the World Wars (1914 - 1991) from occurring and doing its damage all around the world, and nothing can be done about the Taliban or any other threat.  This does not mean, no military or not to be prepared.  Certain things can be done; if we can't do anything about it, we must leave it alone!

"Americans, or at least the commentating classes, are watching aghast as events unfold in Afghanistan. Some are second-guessing the wisdom of withdrawal – after all, how hard is it to maintain a few thousand soldiers there permanently? Others are taking the more comfortable position of saying yes, we had to leave but this just wasn’t the right way" (https://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/after-sunday-its-even-more-clear-biden-was-right).  BY ALL THAT IS HOLY, what were we doing in Afghanistan all those decades in the first place? The right way was not being there to begin with.  That nation had nothing to do with our nation.

What is the right thing?  An interesting question.  It comes down to two premises in three formulas/conditions, but only one is right.  1.  A wrong thing done in a wrong way is wrong. 2. A wrong thing done in a right way is wrong.  3. A right thing done in a wrong way is wrong.  3. A right thing done in a right way can only give the right results.  Saying that Biden left in the wrong way when we should not have been there to begin with is what is wrong because those individuals do not have the authority to decide in the first place!  Those that spout out that bunk believes our nation is a Democracy (majority rule).  I cannot say this enough, we are a Constitutional Federal Republic.

What does that mean? "The word 'Constitutional' refers to the fact that government in the United States is based on a Constitution which is the supreme law of the United States. The Constitution not only provides the framework for how the federal and state governments are structured, but also places significant limits on their powers. “Federal” means that there is both a national government and governments of the 50 states. A “republic” is a form of government in which the people hold power, but elect representatives to exercise that power" (https://ar.usembassy.gov/education-culture/irc/u-s-government/). The only voice every American has never is used because we have the lowest voting turnout in the world.

Shakespeare wrote, "Dear Brutus, our fault does not like in our stars but in ourselves."  Americans rather sit on their asses than vote.  We have the mess we are in because of yesterday's voters, not what the Republicans are doing to keep us from voting.  "Overall, 245.5 million Americans were ages 18 and older in November 2016, about 157.6 million of whom reported being registered to vote, according to Census Bureau estimates. Just over 137.5 million people told the census they voted that year, somewhat higher than the actual number of votes tallied – nearly 136.8 million, according to figures compiled by the Office of the Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives (which include more than 170,000 blank, spoiled or otherwise null ballots). That sort of overstatement has long been noted by researchers; the comparisons and charts in this analysis use the House Clerk’s figure, along with data from the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance and individual nations’ statistical and elections authorities" (https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/11/03/in-past-elections-u-s-trailed-most-developed-countries-in-voter-turnout/).

What is being done [right now] on climate change if the media is plowing the fields about something we should be doing in the first place — policing the world?  What are we doing right now — after the withdrawal?  What about the pandemic?  What about gun violence we still read about daily all over the nation?  These things are more important!
